Born and raised in Prescott, Arizona, Terry Barton has deep roots in the local community and a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship. A 2011 graduate of Prescott High School, Terry earned an Associate of Science degree from Yavapai College in 2014, the same year he obtained his pilot's license.
In 2017, Terry graduated with academic honors from Northern Arizona University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Forestry with a focus on Natural Resource Management.
Following graduation, Terry began his professional career with the Yavapai County Development Services Environmental Unit, where he earned his Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) and Arizona Registered Sanitarian (RS) certifications.
During this time, he gained invaluable experience in on-site wastewater inspection and environmental policy.
In 2020, driven by a passion for improving the local wastewater industry, Terry founded Prescott Environmental.
As an on-site inspector and wastewater system design specialist, he oversees system designs and inspections and leads company initiatives aimed at enhancing industry practices.
Terry also plays an active role in developing Arizona's wastewater statutes and policies, contributing to the advancement of the field statewide.
Outside of his professional life, Terry is a proud father of three and enjoys staying active outdoors. Whether hiking, camping, or exploring the beautiful Arizona landscape, he values time spent in nature with his family.
Through his dedication, technical expertise, and innovative approach, Terry is committed to ensuring Prescott Environmental delivers exceptional service while driving sustainable improvements in wastewater management.
Bethany Barton has called Prescott home since 2005 and is a graduate of Prescott High School, Class of 2013. She earned an Associate of Science degree from Yavapai College in 2016 and continued her education at the University of Texas, where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
As a dedicated mother of three, Bethany balances her family life with her critical role at Prescott Environmental. Since joining the team, she has overseen a wide range of operational responsibilities, including scheduling, secretarial tasks, accounting, and managing the permit application process.
Her approachable demeanor and exceptional organizational skills ensure that customers receive top-notch service and support throughout their experience.
Bethany’s commitment to efficiency, her attention to detail, and her focus on creating seamless processes make her an indispensable part of the Prescott Environmental leadership team.
Jody Perey moved to Arizona in 1986 and is a proud graduate of Bradshaw Mountain High School. In 2009, Jody earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a minor in Biology from the University of the Cumberlands, solidifying her passion for environmental and public health.
Jody began her career with the Yavapai County Development Services Environmental Unit, where she honed her expertise in wastewater systems and earned her Registered Sanitarian (RS) certification in 2019. Since joining Prescott Environmental in 2021, Jody has brought her extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence to every project.
Her responsibilities include on-site inspections, wastewater system design, and delivering exceptional customer care and service. As a dedicated mother, Jody brings the same care and thoughtfulness to her professional role, ensuring that every project is approached with precision and a focus on the well-being of the community.
Jody’s dedication to improving wastewater management, her approachable attitude, and her commitment to both her family and her work make her an invaluable member of the Prescott Environmental team.
